April 2023! We will return to being a CHOICE PANTRY in April! This means that clients will no longer pick-up prepacked boxes and they will return to being able to select the items best suited for their families. The Coronavirus affected our distributions, volunteers, and overall pantry in many ways. We postponed for awhile; then adjusted our methods; and overall kept food delivery on-schedule for the majority of 2021 and 2022. We are hoping to return to being a “Choice Pantry” in April 2023.

We are truly blessed by the continued support of the Kentucky Speedway Children’s Charities! We received a grant to assist children and their families who are struggling with food insecurity in our community. This ongoing support is greatly appreciated.
Kentucky Utilities employees and affiliated contractors donated their support to help us eliminate hunger in Gallatin County by donating $2,967.00!
December 2018 – The GCFP was selected by several individuals throughout the year as their charity of choice for a birthday or anniversary Facebook fundraiser. These fundraising events helped raise over $1,300 in 2018.
December 2018 – The GCFP received a supportive grant in the amount of $3,000 from the Speedway Children’s Charities. This organization continues to support Gallatin County children and families!
September 2018 – Kentucky Utilities and their suppliers teamed up to raise money for their neighbors and friends in Gallatin County! Together they donated over $5,000 to help fund our monthly food distributions!
